Vibe-coded in an hour with AI studio using Gemini 3 flash. The tool is pretty self explanatory, it generates images of gyroids in the browser, and lets the user control several aspects of the gyroid and the rendering.

I added more dithering options and extra features:

  • Resolution - set width and height or use presets: SD (640×480), HD (1280×720), FHD (1920×1080), and SQ (1000×1000). Export image saves a PNG at the current canvas size
  • Dithering - added more Bayer matrices (2×2, 4×4, 8×8), classic error-diffusion modes (Floyd–Steinberg, Atkinson, Sierra Lite, Stucki, Burkes), random spatial noise with adjustable amount and grain, a straight threshold for hard 1-bit output, or none for grayscale preview before halftoning.
